Robot-guided clinching pliers can be equipped with different drives. BTM’s modular construction system allows pneumohydraulic drives to be manufactured as a single unit for fast advance stroke and powerful working stroke as well as a split version with advance stroke pressure converter on the robot and compact power working cylinder on the 6th robot axis. The pneumatic fast pre-stroke and the hydraulically high force at the end form an optimum combination for fast strokes with high forces at the end.
